My Weight Loss Journey
(August 2011 – July 2013)
In 2011 my weight had increased to a whopping 255 pounds! One day, I looked in the mirror & couldn’t believe my eyes. As a result of being significantly obese, my health had rapidly declined, I was sick all the time, depressed behind it all & felt like there was no way out.
It was at that time I knew some serious changes had to be made in order for me to live a more productive lifestyle. I later became my own case study. I experimented with the fluctuation of my weight by analyzing my eating habits & realized that the change had to start there. After all, I was too heavy & unhealthy to be in anybody’s gym.
As time went on, my eating habits changed & the weight came off. I was even able to begin exercising regularly. The more weight I lost, the more I began to fully understand that the commitment I had made was not a diet, but none other than a lifestyle change for the better.
I lost 65 pounds from August 2011 to July 2013. I’ve also managed to maintain my current weight loss by simply changing my lifestyle one meal at a time. The good news is, now you can too!

Interviewer: How did you get started doing this type of work?
Lady K: “I’ve always been passionate about culinary arts & decided to pursue my dreams of being a successful business owner doing something I enjoy! My company motto is Changing Lifestyles One Meal at a Time because that’s exactly what I do. I encourage clean eating!”
Interviewer: What type of clientele have you worked with?
Lady K: “I’ve worked with all types of clientele from young, rising athletes to the middle aged, health conscious individuals & even the elderly population who want to attain or maintain their healthy lifestyle. I also cater to those in general with very specific dietary needs & restrictions.”
Interviewer: What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Lady K: “I possess a degree in Hotel, Restaurant & Institutional Management with a background in Culinary Arts. I too am a seasoned National Certified Medical Assistant. Having this particular skill set combination allows me to better prepare meals for health conscious clients or those with specific dietary needs and/or restrictions.”
